Is Skriza free?
Skriza is in closed beta and free for testers. Long-term, core use stays free — creators and institutions get optional paid features.
How is Skriza different from other social networks?
The ranking of the public feed is published — the formula and its weights are on /ranking, where discussion counts for more than views. That is the difference you can go and read; the others follow from it.
Where is my data stored?
Core data — accounts, posts, media — sits on servers inside the European Union, with legal venue in Europe. A US-based CDN currently sits in front of the site, so connection data can pass through it; that is stated in our privacy notice and is meant to go before production. Your data is never sold.
How do I get access?
Apply for the beta below. Approved testers receive a personal access key by email.
Is Skriza safe for young people?
Youth protection is central for us — which is why we have not opened yet. Educational content first, plus moderation and parental controls: both being built, and a precondition for launching publicly rather than something bolted on later.
What happens to my data if Skriza shuts down?
Skriza is a one-person project in closed beta, paid for out of pocket. It may come to nothing. If we stop, every account gets at least 30 days' notice by email, an export of your posts and messages, and the database is deleted afterwards. The data is not sold, including as part of an insolvency estate.
Who is behind this?
One person: Yusuf Senel in Langenfeld, Germany. The full postal address is in the imprint — no PO box, no shell company. There is no team and there are no investors; if you get a reply, it is from me.
